𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲.
I approached it with 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 and first principles 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰, no overthinking. Today, I checked the answer in the AFM book, and interestingly, it matched exactly with what I had written, though amounts were different in both book and question paper.
𝗠𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆?
𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹. It was a common-sense application of concepts already in the CA Inter syllabus, like - ratios, capital budgeting and types of financing.
𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, it’s testing how you think 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲. And frankly, that’s a fair expectation if the end goal is to create professionals, not rote learners (at least in my opinion).

Let’s be honest:
You don’t just lose time.
You burn your energy, sabotage your goals, and slowly murder your dreams.
Lack of discipline is not a small leak ~ 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿.
No matter how big your ambition is, if you can’t show up consistently, your dreams are just dreams the one you see during sleep.
𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. Wasted days, scattered focus, fake productivity. All because I wasn’t committed to a routine. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 ~ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗿.

It wasn’t just 15 days - it was a complete experience full of learning, growth, fun, and meeting 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.
I’m truly grateful for this journey. Here’s what I took away from it:
